You did not say if your laptop has a wireless buils-in. If yes, right click on your wireless icon.>Click on view available wireless> and choose the signal that shows more strenght.If your laptop don’t come with a build-in, you can go buy a wireless pc card.It comes with a cd. insert it in your cd or dvd rom , follow the instructions.And look for any available network. And connect.Remember you cannot be connected to internet if there is no WI Fi, no router signal. You can still buy a router at a place like Walmart for about $ 50.00 . The cd that comes with will explain to you how to do it..Good luck
