how to connect to xbox live using a laptop with wireless connection and an ethernet cable (XP)

Connecting to xbox
Live using an ethernet
cable and a wireless
network on your laptop.
note: before starting do not turn on xbox 360 until on right step
1. click start
2. open control panel
3. click network and internet connections
4. click internet connections
5.put ethernet cable in back of laptop/p.c
6. put other end of ethernet cable in back of xbox 360.
7. now highlight both connections on internet connections.
8. now simply right click either icon and click bridge connections
9.now turn on your xbox 360 and enjoy wireless
xbox live without paying £60/$100 for a wireless router!!!

what do i have to do after i have done the bridge connection i did everything you said but it wont work without the wire i cant just keep my laptop next to my xbox all the time do i have to take out the wire after the bridge conection is done but?

obviously there is more than one person using the internet or something make sure everyone is off internet 1st then try it. if it dunt work turn off modem wait 30 secs then turn back on then try and bridge

if it didn’t work …
if it didn’t work refresh your internet by unplugging the cable out of ur compo/xbox and turning wireless off then turn off your internet modem. wait 30 seconds then turn ur modem back on and plug in cable and turn on wireless then ou should have a fresh ip adress if it didn’t work i cant do anything else sorry
